About

She began her musical journey in France studying piano and guitar, soon expanding her artistic formation to include composition, music history, chamber music, singing and conducting. Alongside her instrumental studies, she pursued musicology at the Sorbonne University, while continuing advanced piano training at the Conservatoire in Angers with Elizabeth Chaverdian. She later completed her Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the guidance of Thérèse Fahy.

Deeply drawn to interdisciplinary creation, Lily worked for several years as a pianist, actress and sound creator with the theatre company Les Amis de l’ABC, directed by Simon Lauretti. She has written music for film and was awarded the New Music Award for an original score commissioned by the international law firm Matheson.

As an active chamber musician, she won the Milne Cup at the Feis Ceoil with tenor Jacq Herbots and the RIAM Chamber Fest with baritone David Kennedy. As a soloist, she was recently a finalist in the 2025 Maura and Lucien Teissier Piano Competition.

Alongside the concert stage, Lily is interested in creating immersive and imaginative programmes that aim to connect audiences more intimately to classical music. She performs regularly for luxury and private events and is currently a resident pianist at the five-star The Merrion Hotel.

As a teacher, Lily wants to bring the same artistic depth and sensitivity to her pedagogy. She works with students of different levels, helping them develop not only technical confidence, but also imagination, musical understanding and personal expression. Her approach combines structure and creativity, aiming to empower each student to build a meaningful and lasting relationship with music.

Today, she maintains a multifaceted career as a freelance pianist, composer, and piano teacher.
