Learning music is not only about technique, but also about developing imagination, sensitivity and a personal relationship with yourself and your art. It should be fun!
In my lessons, I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment where each student can develop at their own pace, depending on their goals, whether it’s learning music for fun or preparing for competitions or exams.
Lessons taught in person in the South of Dublin

Music is for everyone, at every stage of life.
“Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.” — Maya Angelou
Are these lessons for you?
Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced player, lessons are tailored to your current level. I adapt my teaching to each student — their interests, goals, learning style, and individual pace. Not everyone wants to learn classical music or participate in competitions, and that’s perfectly fine. Music should first and foremost be a space for curiosity, enjoyment, and personal expression.
Lessons can be taught in English or in French.

Words from Students
Lily is a kind, patient, gentle, and wonderful piano teacher who has taught one of our sons for three years and one for the last few months. Her method encourages an overall love of music and of the instrument in a low-pressure and natural way, which we believe is so important for children. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a flexible, dependable, and excellent piano teacher.

After 6 years away from the piano, I’m so grateful I found her. Her attentive ear and guidance have helped me make incredible progress and rediscover my love for playing.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Cimbé as my piano teacher and was consistently impressed by both her warm personality and her professional and social skills. She has a natural talent for teaching and always finds new ways to motivate me. I especially value her ability to listen, encourage, and explain things in a lively, practical, and engaging way and very much appreciate her calm, friendliness, reliability, and dedication.
